Between 2015 and 2018, data related to business trips in Italy showed significant trends in the online booking. While the booking of accommodation decreased from 44.8 percent in 2015 to 31.2 percent in 2018, the amount of business trips requiring both accommodation and transport increased to 51.4 percent of all business trips. Additionally, slightly more transport services for business purpose were booked online in 2018, if compared with the same figure in 2015.
