The total number of tourist arrivals in the Italian region of Veneto increased significantly in 2023 over the previous year, exceeding the figure recorded in 2019, before the impact of COVID-19. Overall, Venice was the most visited province in Veneto both before and after the health crisis, with around 10.4 million arrivals in 2023. That year, Verona and Padua followed in the ranking, with around 5.5 million and 1.9 million arrivals, respectively.
