This statistic shows the results of a survey into the impact not charging admissions has on spontaneous donations and secondary spending of visitors to museums in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2016. In total 74 percent of museums stated that not charging for admissions had a positive impact on spontaneous donations and 51 percent said it had a positive impact on secondary spend.
