Leading iPhone apps in Denmark 2024, by number of downloads

In March 2024, the shopping app Temu was the most downloaded iPhone app in Denmark with approximately 165 thousand downloads during that period. The second-hand shopping app Vinted ranked second with more than 63 thousand downloads, while Google Chrome followed with over 50 thousand downloads in the examined period.

Gaming apps in Denmark

In September 2022, the iconic gaming app Candy Crush Saga was the highest-grossing iPhone gaming app among iPhone users in Denmark, followed by Coin Master. As of May 2021, 35 percent of Danish mobile gamers aged between 18 and 29 years were inclined to spend 100 SEK or more on gaming apps.

Mobile and tablet gaming in Denmark

As of the second quarter of 2022, 26 percent of gamers in Denmark reported preferring to play on their smartphone. By comparison, less than one in 10 respondents reported preferring playing on their tablet devices.
