This statistic displays the share of consumers who would be willing to pay more for a car that does not produce any emissions in Australia as of March 2017, by state. During the survey period, 71 percent of respondents from New South Wales answered that they would be willing to pay more for a zero-emission-car. Out of that 71 percent, 31 percent of consumers from the state would be willing to pay six to ten percent more for a zero-emissions-car compared to a conventional car.
