In fiscal year 2023, the volume of cargo carried on national waterway-II in India was 0.63 million metric tons. In comparison to the preceding fiscal year, there was a slight increase in the cargo volume. National waterway-II comprised 891 kilometers of navigable waterway in the Brahmaputra river from Dhubri to Sadya in the state of Assam.
