The share of people in Sweden who are very concerned regarding terror threats peaked in 2017, when 60 pecent of the respondents were very concerned about terrorism. This year, Sweden was hit by a terrorist attack when a man who sworn allegiance to the Islamic State drove a truck into a shopping street in the Capital Stockholm, killing five people. In the years before and after that, the share was around 50 percent, before dropping to 40 percent in 2022.
