NI: share of female participants in sport outside school 2018/19, by type of sport
The statistic displays the results of a survey on the share of females participating in sport outside of school in Northern Ireland in 2018/2019, by type of sport. In 2018/2019, it was found that 45 percent of the respondents stated that they swim or dive outside of school. Overall in 2019, sport participation in Northern Ireland was at its highest rate in recent years at 56 percent.
