Value of cross-border payments with credit cards by Belgian consumers 2002-2019
The total value of cross-border payments with credit cards used by consumers from Belgium increased four fold between 2002 and 2018. In 2002, cross-border credit card payments reached a value of approximately 2.3 billion euros. By 2018, this had increased to approximately 9.4 million euros.
