This statistic shows the results of a survey conducted in the United States in February 2017, by age. U.S. adults were asked if statements regarding trustworthiness of doctors in prescribing prescriptions appropriately applied to them. In total, 43 percent of respondents between the ages of 18 and 29 stated that they ask their doctor to inform them thoroughly about the drug and possible adverse effects, while about 48 percent of those between the ages of 30 and 45 years ask the same of their doctor.
