In June 2024, Telegram was the most-downloaded social networking and communication app for iPhone in the Apple App Store worldwide, with the chat and social messaging app reporting over 5.7 million downloads from iPhone users worldwide. Facebook was the second most downloaded iPhone app, with the social app generating approximately five million downloads from iPhone users. Chinese social media giant WeChat was the third most popular app for iOS users, with roughly three million downloads in the examined month.
