In 2020, around 8.95 billion U.S. dollars worth of ice cream and frozen desserts were sold in China, increasing from 7.22 billion U.S. dollars in 2016. The retail sales of ice cream is expected to surpass 10.7 billion U.S. dollars by 2025.
