How are connected cars perceived?
According to a survey, 84 percent of the respondents stated that connected cars were a real improvement in terms of comfort and driving experience. Only 22 percent reported that connected cars were something to worry about.
Connected cars might raise privacy and data concerns among car drivers.
Concerns
Although connected cars seem to be the next mandatory step for the automobile industry, some concerns were reported among Italian car drivers. As stated in a survey, 23 percent confirmed that they were concerned by the possible usage of the information that would be stored by the car. 15 percent reported worrying about their safety and, lastly, 13 percent declared that they feared the car functionalities would be rapidly outdated.
