This statistic displays the prevalence of arthritis-attributable activity limitations among adults in the United States from 2013 to 2015 that have a form of doctor-diagnosed arthritis, by ethnicity. From 2013 to 2015, 48.6 percent of Black, non-Hispanic adult respondents said that they have an activity limitation due to their arthritis, while 50.5 percent of multiple race, non-Hispanic respondents indicated that they had an activity limitation due to their arthritis. Arthritis is a leading cause of disability and a common chronic condition in the United States. Common forms of arthritis include osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout and fibromyalgia.
