Base: persons available online (Germans and EU citizens in private households in main place of residence) aged 14 to 69.

2015: 5,182 respondents, projection to 44.31 million persons
This question was asked during the survey in the following wording: "Here you see brands known to you or the manufacturer of the clothing. Please add to every brand information on whether you own an item of clothing from them or not."
(Original German question worded as follows: ""Hier sehen Sie die Ihnen bekannten Marken bzw. Hersteller von Kleidung noch einmal. Bitte geben Sie zu jeder Marke an, ob Sie davon ein oder mehrere Kleidungsstücke besitzen, oder nicht.")
