Advertising revenue of Polaris Media 2012-2023
In the period from 2012 to 2018, the ad revenue of Polaris Media decreased, from more than 900 million Norwegian kroner in 2012 to 617 million Norwegian kroner in 2018. Afterwards, the advertising revenue grew again and reached nearly 1.19 billion kroner in 2021. In 2022, it fell by some 10 percent. Polaris Media, which owns over 30 newspapers, for example Adresseavisen or Harstad Tidende, is one of the largest media groups in Norway. In April 2019, it bought up the Swedish company Stampen Media, which was the main reason for the increase of the ad revenue that year.
