As of 2019, the revenue of Polaris Media's newspaper subscriptions amounted to nearly one billion Norwegian kroner, which was almost twice as the year before. Polaris Media ASA is a Norwegian media group that owns 30 newspapers (printed, online, and mobile versions). The largest media include Adresseavisen, Sunnmørsposten, and Romsdals Budstikke. As of April 2019, the company bought up the Swedish media group Stampen Media. This was the main reason for the higher newspaper subscription revenue in 2019. Since the fusion of both media groups, Polaris Media was able to increase their newspaper subscription revenue further, reaching a value of around 1.8 billion Norwegian kroner in 2023.
