Market share of SRI funds in the total fund market in Belgium 2007-2019

This statistic shows the market share of Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) funds in the total fund market in Belgium from 2007 to the second quarter of 2019. In the second quarter of 2019, SRI funds in Belgium reached a market share in the total fund market of approximately 12 percent. SRI (in full: sustainable, responsible and impact investing) is an investment tool which is based on environmental, social and corporate governance criteria to generate both long-term financial returns as well as a positive impact on society and the environment. Unfortunately, no single approach exists to SRI due to its many emphases. Therefore, investors sometimes use terms such as community investing, green investing or sustainable investing.
