Number of Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) funds in Belgium 2007-2019

This statistic shows the total number of Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) funds in Belgium from 2007 to the second quarter of 2019. In the second quarter of 2019, there were approximately 100 SRI funds in Belgium. This is a decrease when compared to 2018. SRI (in full: sustainable, responsible and impact investing) is an investment tool which is based on environmental, social and corporate governance criteria to generate both long-term financial returns as well as a positive impact on society and the environment. Unfortunately, no single approach exists to SRI due to its many emphases. Therefore, investors sometimes use terms such as community investing, green investing or sustainable investing.
