Businesses' experience with external hackers in Canada 2017, by industry

The statistic presents the results of a survey among business owners in Canada in relation to cyber crime. As of January 2017, 26 percent of responding Canadian retail business owners said they were aware of hackers accessing their company's confidential information currently or at some point in the preceding 12 months. The same was true for 52 percent of businesses in the financial services sector.
