
Reasons for customers to stay loyal to primary supermarket in the Netherlands 2024
According to the Deloitte survey conducted in the Netherlands in 2024, almost half of consumers indicated that they shopped at their primary supermarket because of geographical proximity. According to 40 percent of respondents, knowing where products were shelved and thus being facilitated in their shopping was also a reason to visit their primary supermaket. Only three percent of consumers indicated they would rather shop somewhere else if products were more affordable.
