This statistic shows the percentage of U.S. adults who are familiar with the word selfie as of August 2018, broken down by age group. According to the survey, 79 percent of respondents aged between 18 and 34 years stated to be very familiar with the term, while the same was true for 71 percent of people between 35 and 54 years of age.
