This survey shows the beer consumption in the hotel and catering industry in Belgium from 2009 to 2021 (in hectoliters). In 2013, approximately 3.6 million hectoliters of beer were consumed in the hotel and catering industry in Belgium. By 2021, this had decreased to less than two million hectoliters. 2020 and 2021 saw a major decrease in beer consumption due to the coronavirus, which led the government to shit down restaurants and bars for months.
