UK: commercial property transaction numbers UK 2007-2023

The number of non-residential property purchase transactions (both seasonally adjusted and non-seasonally adjusted), carried out in the United Kingdom (UK) fell to record low in April 2020 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In the second half of 2020, transaction activity recovered and in May 2023, the number of transactions reached 9,120 (non-seasonally adjusted).
