In the financial year 2024, the Indian state Odisha accounted for nearly half of India's mineral production, at over 46 percent. Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh was the second-largest mining state in India at that time, having accounted for 14 percent of the total value of mineral production in the South Asian country.
