Net assets under management of investment funds in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg grew overall since 2019, and reached a value of around 5.12 trillion euros by the end of September 2023. In the Global Financial Centers Index, Luxembourg was ranked as having the sixth most competitive financial center in Europe.

Gathering and overseeing funds from investors, unregulated collective investment schemes (UCIs) in Luxembourg have demonstrated a consistent decline over the past year, settling at 3,345 as of 2023. The assets under management within this UCI category, specifically under the transferable securities scheme industry, have displayed an ongoing negative trajectory. Nevertheless, UCIs still maintain a considerable share, surpassing Alternative Investment funds by more than half, with reported figures of around 10,107 and 4,152, respectively.
