Flat share usage (e.g. Airbnb) by travelers in the UK 2017, by age group
This statistic shows the results of a 2017 survey, asking consumers in the United Kingdom if they have ever previously booked a flat share such as Airbnb when traveling, by age group. According to the data, 12 percent of respondents aged 18 to 29 had booked to stay in a flat share once and a further 10 percent had done so on several occasions. Overall flat share usage was lower on average, also with a lower proportion of non-users saying they would consider booking one in the future.
