This statistic shows the outcome of a survey question concerning the use of leasing or hire-purchase in the past six months of SMEs in Belgium in 2020. In 2020, approximately 59 percent of the Belgian respondents answered leasing or hire-purchase were not relevant to their enterprise. Another method of corporate financing is factoring. In 2016, the total market volume of online alternative finance platforms in Belgium reached a value of approximately 51.5 million euros.
