This statistic shows the results of a survey in which respondents were asked for their shopping missions behind buying pre-packaged cakes and pastries in Great Britain in 2015. The two pre-packaged formats differed only slightly in terms of shopping missions. Both individually wrapped and non/individually wrapped items are more likely to be bought as part of a larger shop at 48 percent and 50 percent respectively.
