The statistic shows the number of same-sex civil partnerships established as of January 2017 and planned for the following months in Italy, by capital of the region. According to the survey results, the city where the highest number of civil partnerships were registered was Milan, followed by Rome and Turin. Milan and Rome had the highest number of civil partnerships celebrated abroad (92 and 86, respectively). By contrast, no civil unions were either celebrated or planned in Catanzaro and Campobasso.
