This statistic displays the probability of major depressive disorders among hearing impaired persons who were hearing aid owners and non-owners in selected developed countries in 2014-2015. According to a survey conducted during these two years, 35 percent of the surveyed hearing aid owners in the United Kingdom had a probability of a major depressive disorder. Among hearing impaired without a hearing aid the percentage was 60 percent.
