Value of commercialized equity funds in Belgium 2007-2020
The total value of commercialized equity funds in Belgium from 2007 to the third quarter of 2020 (in billion euros) fluctuated. In the third quarter of 2020, commercialized equity funds were worth approximately 61.2 billion euros. A recent trend in investing is SRI (in full: sustainable, responsible and impact investing), an investment tool which is based on environmental, social and corporate governance criteria to generate both long-term financial returns as well as a positive impact on society and the environment. In 2016, there were approximately 98 SRI funds in Belgium.
