Y-o-Y variation in number of mortgage-secured loans granted in Italy Q1 2011-Q2 2020
The statistic shows the year-on-year percentage change on mortgage-secured loans finalized in Italy from the first quarter of 2011 to the second quarter of 2020.
Over the period considered, mortgage-secured loans fell during the years 2011 to 2013 before growing again at the end of 2015 by around 30 percent over the last trimester of the previous year. In the second quarter of 2020, mortgage-secured loans contained in notary acts fell by nearly 21 percent compared to the same quarter of the previous year under the effect of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
