As of 2023, Swedish people spent 16 percent of their daily media usage time on watching traditional television. The share generally decreased in recent years. In 2011, for example, Swedes spent 26 percent of their media consumption time on traditional TV.

The statistic is based on a survey conducted via telephone and web interview.

Figures for 2009 to 2022 were taken from previous publications.
