The number of employees in the paper and paper product manufacturing industry in North Macedonia saw no significant changes in 2019 in comparison to the previous year 2018 and remained at around 1403 employees. However, 2019 marked the third consecutive increase of the number of employees in this industry.
According to Eurostat employed persons are all persons aged 15 and over who performed work, even for just one hour per week, for pay, profit or family gain during the reference week or were not at work but had a job or business from which they were temporarily absent because of, for instance, illness, holidays, industrial dispute, and education or training.
