After peaking at 33 million U.S. dollars in 2014, the value of tobacco cigars, cheroots, cigarillos, and cigarettes exported from Italy dropped to approximately 14.3 million U.S. dollars in 2015. In the following years exports of said products gradually recovered, reaching a value of around 30.4 million U.S. dollars in 2022.
