This statistic shows the results of a survey in which respondents were asked how their food allergy or intolerance was diagnosed in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2015. A majority of 54 percent of respondents were diagnosed following tests by health professionals, followed by 35 percent who were diagnosed following a severe reaction.
