This statistic shows the results of a survey on the level of trust in the police in Sweden in 2016. During the survey period, 7 percent of Swedish respondents stated to have a very high trust in how the police handles their duties. All in all, 40 percent have trusted the Swedish Police, whereas 36 percent of individuals interviewed have a little or a very little trust in the authority.
According to a different survey, only 15 percent of respondents considered the Swedish Police to be doing a very or a fairly good job with regard to solve crimes and more than the half of them stated that the police is doing a bad job.
