Attendance at performances by type Netherlands

Total visits at performances in the Netherlands were significantly lower in 2020 and 2021 compared to previous years due to the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Despite the sharp decline in attendance during the health crisis, music shows were the most visited performances in 2021. However, while music events recorded roughly nine million visits in pre-pandemic years, this figure declined to around 1.7 million in 2021.
