As of April 2018, the most followed French influencer on Instagram was ROLA (rolaofficial), with 4.8 million followers. The Instagram account of Enjoy Phoenix (enjoyphoenix) accounting for 4.3 million subscribers ranked second, while Shanna Kress (shannkress83) ranked third as most followed influencer.

Instagram was also the social network on which 71.7 percent of influencers declared getting the most engagement rate in 2019.
