In the first half of 2022, the average daily audience share of the TV channels controlled by the Italian national public broadcasting company Rai stood at 35.8 percent. In 2011, the figure surpassed 40 percent. In 2022, Rai was the leading broadcaster in Italy by average daily TV audience share.
