As of 2024, the installed base of anesthesia machines in Argentinean hospitals was estimated at 3,619 units. C-arms and laparoscopic equipment, tools used during surgery along with anesthesia machines, had an installed base of 820 and 1,105 units, respectively. In 2020, the South American country made use of 2,885 operating rooms, the fourth-largest amount among Latin American nations.
