In the Netherlands, the casualty and property segment (commonly known in Europe as non-life insurance) is smaller than the life segment. In 2015, ABN Amro Schade had a revenue in gross written premium of approximately 254 million euros, making it the leading property and casualty (non-life) insurance company in the Netherlands.
