Average monthly earnings - salary worker households in India 2015
The statistic displays the results of a 2015 survey among salary-worker households in rural and urban India about the average monthly income per household. The time period during which people were surveyed was between April and December 2015. Approximately 28 percent of rural households across the country with salary earning members had an average monthly income of 10,001 to 20,000 Indian rupees during the surveyed time period.
