The average unique weekly users of National Public Radio (NPR) podcasts in the United States amounted to 7.12 million in 2018, close to two million more than in 2017. The number of unique users downloading NPR podcasts has increased dramatically in the last few years, and has more than tripled since 2014. In 2020, the company reported in its annual report that it had 13.96 million weekly podcast users.
