Leading fashion online stores in Russia 2023, by order count

Moscow-based Lamoda was the largest online apparel retailer in Russia in 2023. That year, the e-store was the leading destination site for online apparel shopping in the region and the market leader by the number of orders, as well as by online sales. Lamoda.ru ranked in the fifth place with nearly 119.3 million orders in 2023.

The apparel, footwear, and accessories market is projected for continuous growth in Russia over the coming years. The customer spending for such goods has experienced steady growth over the past few years, with per capita spending on women apparel being the highest compared to that of men and children. Wide profile stores made up over 60 percent of the market.  

E-payments in Russia

Despite the growing popularity of e-wallets as a means of e-commerce payment in Russia, debit cards still prevailed by usage share for such purposes. As for popular online payment services in the country, Sberbank Online was the most preferred e-payment facility as per 83 percent of Russian online shoppers in 2020.
