Market leaders in select categories of FMCG industry India 2016-17
The hair oil market was lead by Marico with about 30 percent of the market in financial year 2017 across India, followed by Dabur. However, Dabur led the fruit juice segment of the market as a leader. Hindustan Unilever Limited had been the main player in the shampoo and skin care industry during that year. Naturally, Colgate was the market leader in Oral hygiene segment across the south Asian country.
