General Motors reached a U.S. market share of around 17.57 percent in the fourth quarter of 2022, ahead of Toyota Motor by around three points. In the fourth quarter of 2022, GM's U.S. vehicle sales totaled about 624,700 units, while Toyota sold roughly 516,400 vehicles in the United States. At around 347,700 units sold, Stellantis was the leading European manufacturer accounting for 9.78 percent of the market sales.
