This statistic presents the share of inbound holiday visitors participating in outdoor activities in England as of surveys conducted in 2010, 2011 and 2014, divided into age groups. Visitors aged 55 and over were much more likely to visit the countryside, with 33 percent of visitors performing this activity compared to 15 percent of visitors aged 16 to 34.
