In 2023, Gyeonggi (Gyeonggi Province), South Korea had the most new tuberculosis cases within the country, at around 3.4 thousand. The capital city of Seoul came in second with about 2.7 thousand cases. Most provinces saw a decline in cases compared to the previous year.
